A native of California, Joli Beal, graduated from UC Irvine. She continued her education by attending The San Diego Design Institute and subsequently became an ASID member. Throughout her years as a working designer she has acquired a broad background in the arts.
She has studied with Plein Air Painters of America, Sebastian Capella, Ray and Peggy-Kroll Roberts, Michael Albrechtsen, Matt Smith, Neil Boyle, Ken Goldman and Ted Goeschner. Joli’s paintings have been represented at the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild, La Jolla Art Association, San Dieguito Art Guild and Golden Pacific Arts. Two of her paintings received Honorable Mention recognition at the San Diego County Fair. An award was also received for her work at the Plein Air competition at the San Diego County Fair. In addition, her paintings are held in the corporate collection of Ligand Pharmaceutical, Parkstone Companies and in a number of private collections. |
